CDC Software Reports Approx $11.3 Million 2010 3Q Application Sales Revenue
CDC Software (News - Alert) Corporation: The Customer-Driven Company, recently announced that the third quarter 2010 application sales is expected to go up to approximately $11.3 million based on current financial projections and estimates. Due to the increased license sale in the EMEA region and CDC factory products, the current estimate shows an approximate 49 percent increase in comparison to the $7.6 million sales revenue reported in the third quarter of 2009. Both license revenue and the Secured Total Contract Value (STCV) for Software-as-a-Service (SaaS (News - Alert)) sales are used to estimate the approx figure for third quarter of 2010. The products are increasingly used in outbound call center scenarios.
Bruce Cameron, president of CDC software, was quite impressed with the initial projections indicating robust application sales growth, which incidentally had been slow due to the seasonal sales/business cycle. He added that sales in the European region were experiencing significant growth despite the extended summer holidays. Two seven digit sales and service deals for CDC TradeBeam cloud solution and the CDC Factory on-premise plant floor solution were among the significant transaction closed which added to the sales revenue. CDC TradeBeam bagged a three-quarter of a million dollar sale while a sizeable portion of the revenue was roped in by the Pivotal CRM on-premise license sale in Russia. The president also noticed a steady growth in the CDC members cloud-based non-profit and public sector solutions. He reported that several large multi-plant deals were closed this year that included CDC Factory product line with significant sales expansion in Latin America, India and China.
Appeased with the sales growth, Cameron explained as per a release, “For example, we have been seeing great traction in cross selling our cloud-based eCommerce solution into our 10,000 customer installed base. With our solid business fundamentals in place and a strong financial foundation, we believe that we are poised to continue growth through organic and cross-sell sales opportunities, as well as synergistic acquisitions and investments in both the on-premise, as well as SaaS business models.”
As a hybrid enterprise software provider of on-premise and cloud deployments, CDC Software leverages service-oriented architecture (SOA) to deliver various solutions that includes on-premise, hosted, cloud-based Software as a Service (SaaS) or blended-hybrid deployment offerings.
