2010 was a Breakout Year for SaaS BI Provider Oco
Enterprise-class Software-as-a-Service business intelligence (SaaS (News
- Alert) BI) solutions provider Oco has announced that it had a breakout year in 2010 including triple-digit sales growth, continued SaaS BI product innovations, and a large rise in new customers.
Turn-key Oco SaaS BI applications are trying to address the needs of the customers who want advanced, actionable business analytics to help gain a competitive edge.
The company said the solutions provide that edge, on-demand, without the traditional up-front cost and wait associated with custom-built data warehouses and BI programs.
Last year, Oco signed on a large number of new customers, including D&M Holdings, Caterpillar, King Arthur Flour, Apex System, Hunter Defense, Ingram Micro (News
- Alert), Tellabs and other medium to large-size companies.
As a result of this, the company experienced a 300 percent growth in sales in 2010. Oco notes that it increased its employee headcount, particularly within product development and delivery to handle the customer surge and prepare for continued growth.
Last year saw the launch of version 4.0 of the Oco SaaS BI platform and analytic applications. This release featured many "industry firsts" to support its fast-growing customer base.
Oco earned many industry accolades in 2010, including the Intelligent Enterprise Editor's Choice Award as a company to watch in the IT industry, and CEO, Bill Copacino, was honored as one of the top supply chain executives in the 2010 Provider Pros to Know by Supply & Demand Chain Executive magazine.
"We had a great 2010 because we're fanatical about delivering value to customers, and our growth proves that," said William Copacino, president and CEO of Oco, Inc. "Oco is poised for even greater growth in 2011 because customers are realizing they can’t satisfy all their users’ BI needs via custom development. Just as turn-key ERPs and CRMs transformed enterprise application development 15 years ago, turn-key analytic applications like Oco will transform BI today."
