SAP Partners with IBM to Offer Cloud-Based SAP CRM Rapid Deployment Solutions

SAP (News - Alert), a provider of business management software and solutions, announced the immediate availability of SAP Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Rapid Deployment solutions over the cloud.


The company also announced partnership with IBM (News - Alert) to host and implement the solution as well as provide infrastructure and application management support. These solutions will be delivered operationally on demand through IBM.

To be deployed via IBM’s Software-as-a-Service (SaaS (News - Alert)), the expanded portfolio of SAP CRM Rapid Deployment solutions enable companies to deliver a superior customer experience – every time, on every channel, company officials said.

The new SAP CRM Rapid Deployment solutions improve account and contact management, activity management, groupware integration, performance management and opportunity management. The solution caters to industries such as real estate, chemicals, consumer products (CPG) and high-tech manufacturing, amongst others in India.

The company claims that SAP CRM Rapid Deployment solutions portfolio enables customers to be up and running quickly, in as little as 6 to 8 weeks. These solutions allow customers to reduce time-to-market to meet internal business requirements and improve customer relationships at a very low upfront investment.

“The latest releases of SAP Rapid Deployment solutions are a clear illustration of our capability to speed the market demands, thereby making the strength of our software, combined with fixed pricing, industry-leading services and support an emerging default to provide affordable solutions that quickly turn into tangible value,” said Neeraj Athalye, head - Strategic Solution, SAP India, in a statement.

“The elegance of IBM’s hosting services for the delivery of the SAP CRM Rapid Deployment solutions allows customers, regardless of size, to obtain business value immediately and at the right price point,” Athalye added.

Sabu Gopinath, partner and SAP Service Line leader, Global Business Services, IBM India/South Asia, said the hosting of SAP CRM Rapid Deployment solutions is one more step towards delivering ‘everything-as-a-service’ for their customers.

“SAP and IBM have joined forces to harness the true potential of the cloud by delivering proven enterprise applications that provide greater value to our clients and deliver higher business outcomes,” Gopinath added.
