Oracle Fusion CRM in the Cloud Unveiled

October 07, 2011

Oracle (News - Alert), an integrated business software and hardware systems company, announced the release of its public cloud offering of Oracle Fusion Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Oracle Fusion CRM in the Cloud.

According to Oracle, its Fusion CRM Cloud Service facilitates sales professionals to sell smarter. Precisely, it helps sales professionals outsmart their competition by planning, prospecting, collaborating and closing smarter.

For that reason, the Oracle Fusion CRM Cloud Service is powered by embedded business intelligence that delivers unprecedented insight into sales planning and sales performance management.

"We believe Oracle Fusion CRM is the smartest Customer Relationship Management solution available in the cloud or anywhere else," said Anthony Lye, group VP of Oracle CRM, in a statement. "Oracle Fusion CRM is also a part of the most complete set of enterprise-grade services available today. That provides a clear path to the cloud for companies that require enterprise-strength power, security, and vendor accountability."

Apart from offering high-quality CRM capabilities that drive smarter selling, the Oracle Fusion CRM Cloud Service also facilitates organizations to: integrate sales territory management with quota management to help sales organizations optimize resource allocation; combine customer and product master data information with all CRM processes; and help sales people focus efforts on solutions.

In addition, the Oracle Fusion CRM Cloud Service also enables organizations to deliver a consolidated customer center for all CRM business processes that is supported by a common 360 degree view of customer information, and also improves lead generation processes by managing customer dialogs with multi-stage campaigns and standardized lead qualification processes.

According to Oracle, its Cloud Services support customers' choice of deployment models by offering portability between the public cloud, private cloud and on-premise deployments.

Officials with Oracle said that Oracle's enterprise-grade CRM cloud applications were released as part of the recently announced Oracle Public Cloud. These enterprise-grade CRM cloud applications can deliver all the power of the company’s most advanced applications in a simple subscription pricing model – with no hardware to buy or software to support.

The Oracle Public Cloud is an enterprise-grade cloud, which provides the advantages customers expect from SaaS (News - Alert) (software as a service) and PaaS (Platform as a Service), without the limitations of niche solutions.
