Latest Version of M5 Connect for Salesforce Released

December 09, 2011

M5 Connect for Salesforce version 4.0 has been released by M5 Networks (News - Alert). The Google Chrome browser will be supported by the new version. The new release will also support the latest versions of Internet Explorer and Firefox.

In a release, Brent Barbara, VP of Innovation and Integration for M5 Networks, said, “Even in this digital age, the telephone system is still the primary tool for bringing sellers and buyers together. Our Salesforce.com (News - Alert) integration maximizes the value of each call. People rely on Salesforce.com because it gets results and puts the focus where it belongs, on sales and service, not administration. We share this philosophy.”

According to Barbara, customers are empowered by M5 to work how they want. M5 strives hard to give as many options possible to the customers. A part of this effort is providing expanded browser support.

The data in Salesforce is unified with intelligence from the phone system by M5 Connect for Salesforce.com. Sales effectiveness is therefore enhanced. Productivity is also increased by the solution. Anytime a phone number is available, a call can be started by users from within Salesforce.com. Before the call is answered, lead or contact information is displayed with the help of inbound screen pops. Each time the phone is dialed, users are prompted for call notes and wrap up codes. Representative and campaign success can be also measured easily by managers using the real time analytics provided by the solution.

M5 has prepackaged Connect offerings for other popular CRM and Applicant Tracking systems apart from M5 Connect for Salesforce. An API for integration with niche packaged applications or home grown systems are also offered by the company.
