AVOXI Unveils US 800 Geographic Call Blocking Feature
AVOXI has unveiled a U.S. 800 geographic call blocking feature, which blocks calls on the basis of states. The latest offering ensures that U.S.-based 800 numbers can be dialed only from predefined, states as per the needs of the customers.
AVOXI has been offering worldwide and U.S. toll-free numbers to customers around the globe for over 10 years. Several customers of AVOXI required a U.S. toll-free number, which will not be accessible from specific states. A specific industry using AVOXI offerings required a U.S. 800 number that could only be dialed from Nevada, Delaware and New Jersey. AVOXI’s customers can now procure a national 800 number with geographic call blocking, resulting in the fulfillment of regulations and/or improved targeting of consumers.
A U.S. 800 number that has been blocked through this program will not allow a customer from a barred state to get through. This functionality permits customers to choose the states where they need their U.S. 800 number to be available.
In a statement, Jim Butorac, senior vice president of Product Management at AVOXI, said, “While we have been providing toll free numbers for over a decade, we realize the importance of staying current with customers’ changing needs. Sometimes, making adjustments to current products is as important as inventing new ones.”
Customers can develop their business globally using international toll-free numbers. AVOXI offers international toll-free numbers, universal international freephone numbers and U.S. and Canada toll-free numbers. Businesses can connect with customers in countries even where they do not have offices, in an affordable manner using international toll-free numbers.
Enterprises in any industry use these numbers for inbound sales, customer and technical services.
AVOXI is a provider of cloud communications, and concentrates on fulfilling the universal calling requirements of call centers, hotels, tour operators and worldwide enterprises globally.
