SocketLabs Intros New Hosted E-mail Delivery Service
October 05, 2009
SocketLabs, Inc., provider of high volume, on-premise marketing and transactional e-mail delivery solutions for the Microsoft (News - Alert) Windows platform, has reportedly introduced a new hosted email delivery service called, Email On-Demand.
This new monthly subscription service is a fully managed and hosted SMTP relay service designed to increase the delivery rates for companies sending marketing or transactional bulk e-mail.
The company has built this new service on the Hurricane Platform and is designed for companies who are interested in outsourcing their bulk email delivery process. It helps companies take advantage of the higher throughput and deliverability capabilities of Hurricane MTA Server without having to manage the infrastructure or the email delivery process themselves.
According to the company, Email On-Demand offers users a combination of fully managed deliverability features including throttling rules for the largest ISP domains, email authentication, suppression lists for bad addresses and complaints and IP whitelisting. It even manages e-mail deliverability for customers to over come the barriers put up by large ISPs and corporations to combat spam.
“Every bulk e-mail sender, no matter how big they are, faces deliverability issues due to the fight against spam,” said John Alessi, president of SocketLabs, in a statement. “We created the Email On-Demand service so that legitimate email senders of all sizes have access to a platform that ensures the highest level of deliverability at a cost that makes sense for their business.”
Also, Email On-Demand customers have the privilege to log into a state-of-the-art AJAX driven Web site to monitor the progress of their outbound e-mail in real-time, around the clock, and manage their account.
The company is currently offering the service in range between 100,000 and 2 million messages per month and are billed as a monthly subscription. The service includes support for domainkeys/DKIM, feedback loops, bounce processing, statistics reporting and suppression lists.
