January 25, 2010
UniteU Technologies, Inc., a provider of integrated, on-demand e-commerce applications, reported that the online merchants who are leveraging company’s UniteU ecommerce platform reported higher sales growth during the 2009 holiday season.
According to UniteU Technologies, its UniteU Software-as-a-service ecommerce platform enhances site performance, improves site usability, drives traffic, and increases conversions as well as retentions, thereby facilitating merchants to grow and streamline their online businesses.
Featuring UniteU’s powerful search refinement tools, the company’s ecommerce platform is incorporated with promotions and analytical tools that enable merchants to utilize a wide-range of marketing initiatives such as e-mail marketing, social media campaigns, SEM, affiliates and shopping engines. In addition, the platform also supports aggressive marketing campaigns when visitor volumes are at their peak, such as holiday season.
Officials with UniteU Technologies said in a press release that the company’s ecommerce solutions are designed to help companies of all sizes to not only maximize online revenues, but also reduce the costs and risks of running an e-commerce operation.
In the release, Jacqueline Segura, director merchant solutions group at UniteU said that during the 2009 holiday shopping season, the company’s customers reported increase in sales by 22 percent compared to 2008. The company’s e-commerce solution not only meets the requirements of online merchants, but also drives their business.
Additionally, UniteU’s Connected Commerce platform adapts as well as scales to meet the ever-changing requirements of multi-channel retailers; supporting custom designs, integration, rich media, advanced promotions, multiple payment and shipping options and intuitive search and navigation capabilities. The platform is also compliant with payment card industry data security standards, officials said.
“Implementing Filtered Navigation Search in time for the Holidays shopping season resulted in a higher conversion, increasing order volume and revenue,” Greg Baldwin, Web manager, City Sports, said “In addition to implementing features that helped us grow, we were pleased to experience the rapid support and backing from the UniteU team during the extremely busy pre-holiday period when we launched our marketing campaigns. This experience ensures our trust and confidence as we continue to offer our customers a great online experience. We had concerns that the increased order volumes would affect our fulfillment capabilities but the UniteU Order Hold and Release capability allowed us to streamline over 95 percent of our orders and minimize loss due to fraud.”
“We have always staffed our call center based on historical needs and volumes, which allows us to meet the customer service expectations of our customers while minimizing payroll expense,” Joel Harrington, Internet operations and marketing director at Austads.com, said. “With recent site enhancements from UniteU and continued consistent overall platform stability, we have seen the correlation between peak web traffic and increased call center staffing needs deviate favorably. This positive change proves an increasing amount of trust and comfort on the behalf of shoppers in our site’s performance.”
Apart from e-business consulting and Web marketing services, UniteU also offers premier managed hosting, Web analytics and more.
