Alteryx Delivers Geographic BI Technology Platform to Wider User Communities

Alteryx, LLC (formerly SRC), has delivered the Geographic Business Intelligence technology platform for wider user communities through improved Web services capabilities. They presented this at the ICSC ReCON global retail real estate convention held on Las Vegas, Nevada.

Using the Alteryx menu-driver, Web wizard interface, enterprise customers utilizing Alteryx in hosted, on-premise and hybrid environments will bring custom applications to each level of user, partner and supplier in their organizations.

Dean Stoecker, the chief executive officer at Alteryx, declared that Alteryx engine provided enterprise-wide Business Intelligence and geospatial analytics in a true Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) environment with unmatched speed, efficiency and flexibility as promised. Also, it can now be deployed through the Web easily.

Stoecker added that Alteryx Web services now allow a large new community of users through departments in all business types since it's not limited to developers and DBA-level engineers anymore. Managers can now define, optimize and install custom applications that deliver analytics to critical operational, marketing and business decisions that must be made now in the middle of changing demographics and locations.

The customized modules that are deployed as Web wizards through the Alteryx flagship Saas Subscription offering revealed how the utilization of business intelligence can quickly develop into new applications and resolve old business issues.

A broad selection of different database resources, such as spatially enabled databases, transactional databases, data warehouses, spatial data formats and spreadsheets, and flat files are created by Alteryx to integrate datasets more quickly and accurately than other technology platform. Access options for more highly developed deployments are Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and Software Developer Kit (SDK) for interactions that are local and network-based.

Stoecker also said that the power of business intelligence is being stretched by this technical advancement into much wider user communities. This technical advancement also opens the possibilities of undiscovered tools, applications and modules that are limited by the imagination only. Since Alteryx was founded 13 years ago, the platform development allows a much wider user community to develop their own custom applications, and deploy them over the Web easily.
