izmocars Re-Certified as CLMP by General Motors

izmocars, a leading automotive business solutions provider, announced that General Motors (News - Alert) (GM) has approved the re-certification of izmocars as a Certified Lead Management Provider (CLMP). The certification is vital for izmocars as it ensures that by using izmocars iCRM and iLM systems, GM’s inbound lead response time will be adhered to strictly, as well as follow up will be carried on quickly and efficiently.


izmocars became the first company in the automotive industry to completely integrate social networking into automotive CRM, wherein GM dealers utilizing iCRM and iLM can now identify a customer’s footprint on social media sites, as well as pinpoint which customers are influenced by running campaigns or surveys based on friend or visits counts to each site, and encourage their dealership. This move has become a critical component of dealership marketing as 75 percent of Americans prefer to visit sites such as Facebook, Twitter, and MySpace (News - Alert), thereby increasing the importance and popularity of social media, and making organizations look into it for alternate advertising campaigns.

The re-certification process, which was initiated in December 2009 by GM to increase the system capabilities and functionality of the Lead Management Systems which are used by GM dealers, includes the company meeting over 100 functionality requirements. Some of the important features are, e-mail notification for all lead types for efficiently reducing response time; integration with mobile e-mail devices such as iPhone for 24/7 support by GM OneSource (News - Alert); real time lead disposition transitions for faster response; separate lead distribution workflow for each lead category such as sales, service, parts, and accessories; capability to route leads to multiple authorized users at the dealership for complete visibility; capability to receive GM promotional email templates; and capability to pinpoint customer's social media footprint and market accordingly with the CLMP, iCRM, and iLM certifications and processes.

In a press release, the President and founder of izmocars, Tej Soni, said, "We are delighted to receive the GM Certified Lead Management Provider re-certification. Both iCRM and iLM go further than the mandatory GM requirements to include Social Media Marketing integration with Facebook (News - Alert), Twitter, MySpace, and LinkedIn, as well as owner equity data mining and marketing."
