The company which is a partner to several Fortune 500 Companies has already successfully established 2 delivery centers in Bangalore and Chennai. The new Center of Excellence at Puducherry, which is being set up for the delivery of the company's Online, Publishing, and Retail Solutions (OPRS), will be designed with a seating capacity of 700 people
Furthermore, the new center will further build on Datamatics Global's ongoing expansion plan as well as its mission to expand the delivery of its OPRS solutions to a wider global publishing and retail customer base.
In a release, Rahul Kanodia, Vice-Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer, Datamatics Global Services Limited, said that, "Datamatics started its journey in southern India at Chennai in 2003 with a 30 member delivery center and today, close to 400 professionals deliver OPMS solutions from this center. The highly talented and motivated professionals in Chennai have not only led to the success of our OPRS business but also convinced us to extend our footprint in southern India. Today, more than 50 percent of software professionals come from tier 2 and tier 3 cities but have to migrate to metros for want of better job opportunities. I am certain that our Puducherry center will offer aspirants from this region a healthy work life balance."
The company's division for the delivery of OPRS solutions will offer an extensive suite of skill based services in addition to a number of IT based solutions which include services ranging from digital publishing and online content services to eBooks, web application and analytics as well as development of mobile apps and ecommerce solutions supporting content management for IT.
